For legs, apply a thin layer of the poultice or gel directly to the horse's leg surface. You have the option to use it with or without moist paper, plastic, and polo wraps. Utilizing plastic increases heat exchange and prevents the poultice from drying too rapidly.
For the back and body: Apply our poultice directly to the horse hoof sole pushing it into all of the crevasses around the frog. Use our poultice several times a week or after shoeing to increase moisture to ensure a soft, pliable, resilient sole, frog, and hoof wall. To achieve optimal outcomes, wrap the treated area for 24 hours after application.
